


The school building itself is just over a quarter of a mile long. It is one of the largest public high schools in South Jersey. The school serves students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Washington Township Public School District. The Washington Township teams are led by head coach Sarah Burns, a kindergarten teacher at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, and assistant coach Hope Urso, a first-grade teacher at Wedgwood Elementary. The Minutemaids faced teams from Delran, Williamstown, Christ the King, Clearview, Cinnaminson, Medford, Moorestown, and Northern Burlington middle schools. The middle school program features two teams – Red and Blue. The team compiled of girls from all three middle schools – Bunker Hill, Chestnut Ridge, and Orchard Valley – scored a combined 53 goals and posted nine shutouts. The Minutemaids Red Team went undefeated, finishing with a record of 13-0-1, which was tops in its division.
